About Us

B2B Built for Mainers
Welcome to Four Geese Designs, a dedicated team of makers led by Chris and Laurel Pollard, based in the picturesque coastal town of Kennebunkport, Maine.
Our journey began in the early 1990s, with Chris managing his construction business and later providing subject matter expertise to residents and commercial landowners navigating land use regulations while serving on the rural Maine Planning Board. Meanwhile, Laurel oversaw a retail and production facility, eventually owning her own commercial real estate and serving as a consultant for the business community across New England. After seven years living in California, and exploring throughout the west, we returned home to Maine, bringing back our passion for craftsmanship and our commitment to our community. Together with our children, Susan and Robert, we strive to support the industrious spirit of “true Mainers,” whether they are native or newcomers.
At Four Geese Designs, we are dedicated to providing you with comprehensive consultation, design, and production services that resonate with your personal journey. Drawing upon our extensive experience, craftsmanship, and a passion for creating unique, handcrafted home decor items that tell a story, we strive to exceed your expectations. Whether you are a realtor seeking an independent analysis during a walk-through with your client to explore property potential, design and production of custom furniture, cabinets, and displays, a retail review to enhance product selection and packaging for increased sales and customer satisfaction, or product design and customization for commercial retail and event production. Like the Kennebunkport boat builders of the past, our diverse range of skills and industrious nature allows us to infuse a multitude of artistic elements into our creations.
From Southern Maine to the Midcoast, we are committed to making decisions that not only benefit your business but also align with our principles of sustainability and support for local businesses, farmers and artisans. Thank you for being a part of our story and supporting our mission to celebrate the beauty of Maine through service, art and design.
